I have purchased several homes in the Reno area using Debbie Benington. What first attracted me to her was the services described on her website. I like the ability to search for homes on my own as they become available, and Debbie's "Listingsbook" does just that, with full access to the MLS. It allows you to set a graphical box around the area you're interested in and will will provide listings and status of homes for sale in that area. It will even e-mail you daily updates as something new comes on the market so that you can be one of the first ones to know. You can research comps of recently sold, sort by price or even price per square foot. It's great for getting up to speed on valuation and property availability. When you get the point where you want to go look at a home, Debbie was great at coordinating with the selling agent and scheduling a visit. Even a sizeable list of potential homes was no problem over the course of an afternoon. I have referred Devbie to several of my friends and will continue doing so. Her professionalism as a working Broker (not an Agent), knowledge of the local area, ability to negotiate a purchase on your behalf, and ability to offer advice on home features as she sees them is that good. (This home was fixed by a flipper, this home has an awkward floor plan, I've seen elsewhere, where some people have modified the kitchen in this way, this home while expensive is in a great area, etc.). I don't give many 5-star ratings, although I'm happy to do so when the person or services justify it. Use Debbie Bennington and you won't be disappointed.
